New-vember

sunny november snow
Thank you all for the comments on the mittens and the clapotis!
It's so encouraging to read your nice words, and even if I don't answer be assured I cordially appreciate every comment.

Himalaya baby socksFor those that are paying close attention to my progress bar, the Himalaya socks are back in action.
I decided that the yarn I planed to use for the gloves was not glov-y enough. So I bought one skein of the same yarn I used for the baby socks. On the picture you see, that I only have to turn the short row toe. The 'scraps' then will be enough for a pair of short, finger(tip)less gloves, I hope.

Socktober was great!Thank you, Lolly! I haven't been very productive, but it was - once again - nice to knit socks in company. Sadly, I didn't have the time to visit as many other blogs as I would have liked to, and even more sad (shame on me!) I haven't left as many comments as I ought to have done. But I was watching you! ;-)

Now that Socktober is over, I'm thinking about something new to focus on.. ný, neu, nouveau.. Newvember? 'New' meaning not only new socks (Ha!) but new projects or even new techniques. I actually started already but do not really have the time to show you now. Has to do with the mysterious bag from some posts ago. More soon.

Hmm, now we are all wondering about these new techniques and new projects. Do let us know when you have time.

I'm glad you will be finishing the baby socks. Is there an intended recipient for these?

We had our first snow fall today. I woke up to a dusting of white....it was gone in a few hours but it was nice while it was around!

I enjoy reading your blog. Isn't it fun to be able to visit the world and other knitters from your computer?
